Four years ago, Hunter Thornton-Payne swore he’d get revenge. Now, he has the perfect opportunity at the Wentworth charity fundraiser. Abby Blanton also has an ulterior motive for being at the fundraiser, as she is determined to meet the elusive Gwen Wentworth and find out what happened to her mom at the Kore Women’s Center. Unfortunately, someone else is out there with a deadly agenda, and working together may be the only hope for success for either Hunter or Abbie.
SILENT TRUTH is part of the B.A.D. series. It is the third collaboration between these two authors in the series and continues the story arc involving the Fratelli and their plot to take over the world. It can easily be read as a stand alone as enough background information is provided to give readers a full glimpse of the high stakes involved.
Once again, Sherrilyn Kenyon and Dianna Love show their skill at creating fascinating characters that the reader can’t help but love. Hunter is an intriguing character, seemingly aloof and yet hurting inside. His willingness to sacrifice others’ opinions of him in order to avenge a friend makes his cold exterior understandable, even likable. Abbie is a great counterbalance to him as she also is willing to sacrifice for those she loves, and she also harbors a deep pain that keeps her from easily trusting. Watching these two characters find love with each other as they heal from their pasts makes for a beautiful romance and a great happily-ever-after.
SILENT TRUTH is another spectacular addition to the B.A.D. series. Sherrilyn Kenyon and Dianna Love excel at crafting a romantic, intense, and exciting story. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough as even the side story involving Linette and the horrid Basil kept me interested. SILENT TRUTH is romantic suspense at its finest! Highly recommended!
