Evalle Kincaid has fought her entire life to prove her loyalty to the Beladors. She’s abided by the oath of loyalty to this ancient Celtic tribe since her eighteenth birthday, even as many Beladors refuse to trust her. After all, Evalle is only half Belador. Now all of that is at stake as someone is using demons to kill in Atlanta and the murders bear traits of an Alterant- and Evalle is also half Alterant. Worse yet, she’s being saddled with a new partner, Storm, and the clock is ticking. Will Evalle unravel the mystery in time or will she lose her life as a change of apocalyptic proportions is at hand?

Wow! What a fantastic and stunning entry to a new series! Sherrilyn Kenyon and Dianna Love have crafted a new world that sucks the reader in and doesn’t let go to till the very end. The depth of this new world is incredible, even more so because of how easily the reader becomes immersed in the complexity of the various races, conflicts, and belief systems inhabiting it.

But BLOOD TRINITY isn’t just spectacular because of the world building. No, the characters are just as awesome and well developed. Not only is Evalle likable and multidimensional, but so are the various secondary characters. And who can’t help but fall just a little bit in love with Feenix and his stuffed alligator? Evalle’s acceptance and love of Feenix exemplifies her own sense of being a misfit and it’s hard not to tear up reading any of the scenes where he appears.

BLOOD TRINITY is without a doubt one of the best books I’ve read this year. Sherrilyn Kenyon and Dianna Love have penned a tale that shows just how awesome urban fantasy really can be, particularly as the genre is flooded with so many choices. If you love urban fantasy, don’t miss out on BLOOD TRINITY. I can’t wait to read the second book! Brilliantly done and highly recommended!

My name is Debbie and I love to read just about anything. My favorite books, however, are generally paranormal romances. I am a social worker with the school system in Florida so I get a lot of time off in the summer to read (except when I'm sitting in the dark with no ac thanks to a hurricane)! I'm happily married and have 2 doggie children. I also enjoying working out, "American Idol", and cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team.

Oh I can’t imagine anyone NOT liking this new series! I even have the words to truly convey just how much I enjoyed this book other than to say I’ve been recommending it to all my friends who like urban fantasy as a must-read. :)

How neat you grew up in Tampa! I guess coming to RWA in Orlando was like coming home for you in a way then!
