ALTERANT picks up right where BLOOD TRINITY ends. The world of the Beladors is a complex one and I would suggest reading BLOOD TRINITY prior to reading ALTERANT. The intricacies of the various relationships, species, and the world itself are best appreciated in the context of the series as a whole.

Wow, Sherrilyn Kenyon and Dianna Love kick it up a notch with ALTERANT! The emotions are running high as Evalle is on the brink of losing everyone and everything she cares about. The scenes with Feenix are nothing short of heartbreaking and show a sensitive side to an otherwise tough urban fantasy heroine.

ALTERANT is an intriguing urban fantasy. The underlying themes of prejudice and racism add a deeper level to the overall series as Evalle struggles between the societal norms and being the token ALTERANT “accepted” by the Tribunal. ALTERANT shows just why Sherrilyn Kenyon and Dianna Love are on my must-read list! Highly recommended!
