Even better, she makes the reader believe in the emotions involved between Sybil and all five men. The sex scenes feel meaningful and caring, despite the fact that Sybil has to comply or lose the protection of the goddess Inanna as well as her life. This is a testament to the writing skills of Charlene Teglia as she took a seemingly forced situation and made it romantic. CLAIMED BY THE WOLF is a fun, sexy read. Charlene Teglia integrates enough world building and plot into the storyline to keep the pace moving quickly. While definitely marketed more for readers who like their stories quite spicy, CLAIMED BY THE WOLF may also garner some paranormal fans with the story involving the demon portal. I look forward to seeing where Charlene Teglia takes us with this new series and I have high hopes for happily-ever-afters for some of the other Shadow Guardians.Reviewed by Anne |
