Nicholas is a Revenant himself so any chance of love with Chessa is hopeless… or is it? Delilah Devlin writes some of the edgiest stories out there. Her steamy tales of vampires in the Dark Realm series break a lot of the conventional rules, but oh is this one good! Chessa and Nicholas live in a vampire society in which monogamy isn’t practiced due to the insatiable needs of the vampires. Don’t think this means that jealousy can’t rear its ugly head, however, and the sparks that fly as a result are scorching! Delilah Devlin does a marvelous job at creating a unique and very sensuous world. SEDUCED BY DARKNESS is the sequel to INTO THE DARKNESS and picks up right where the first book left off. I would suggest reading INTO THE DARKNESS first, since Ms. Devlin has some interesting twists in store for the reader that a bit of the back story is necessary for full understanding. Without giving away spoilers, I just wish that a few of the other stories in this world were available in print. SEDUCED BY DARKNESS is heavy on the erotica side but every single moment has a meaning, some of which are not immediately obvious. Delilah Devlin writes one heck of a sexy story as the flames between Nicholas and Chessa are blazing hot. SEDUCED BY DARKNESS is not for everyone as it is a bit daring at times, but those who like their stories on the wild side will love this one!Reviewed by Anne |
