fraternization. Sure, Alexis knows the company rule, but that hasn’t

off until now, but it is getting more difficult to say no, and this business
trip the two of them took alone together isn’t helping matters.

convincing the career-minded Alexis to take a chance on love with him.
That’s what the trip
to Sedona he planned for them is all about. Yes, they
had legitimate business, but he is also hoping the magic of the location
will help Alexis see how much they can mean to each other.
A hike with Gabe through the mountains and a mystical rock soon affect
Alexis in ways she could never have expected, and her life will never be the
same again.
When is voyeurism not exactly voyeurism? Perhaps when you are watching
yourself and your soul mate in a previous life… Such is the case with the
heroine of Mackenzie McKade’s new release, Destiny’s Touch.
Although a short read, this novella packs quite a punch in the emotion
department. Talented author McKade easily builds a history for these
characters in the present day, and ups the ante even more with glimpses into
their past lives, with the romantically reluctant Alexis as the
time-travelling voyeur.
Although initially resistant to the idea of a workplace romance, a series of
flashbacks from their previous incarnations serve well to convince our
heroine that Gabe is, indeed, the man she is meant to be with and that their
present life is the chance their souls have long awaited to make it work
finally. OK, the flashbacks combined with Gabe’s patient persistence convince her… *grin*
And Gabe is most certainly patient, even while struggling with his own
intense emotions concerning the desirable Alexis. Knowing he might scare
her off forever if he moves too quickly, he gives her the space she needs to
make the decision to come to him, while still remaining on the fringe, ready
to meet her halfway when the time is right. Of course, he’ll do everything
possible to help her see that the time is right!
Destiny’s Touch is a wonderful story that is bound to touch
the heart of romance readers everywhere. With the flashbacks offering both
some very sexy scenes and some very emotional tearjerker moments, Mackenzie
McKade keeps her fans on the edge of their seat until the end of the story.
Then again, the present day love scenes between Gabe and Alexis are pretty
darn hot too…
