Dawn Birmingham’s friends just want for Dawn to let her hair down a little for her birthday.  Samantha and Peggy take her to a local sex toy shop, DON’T SPANK THE VAMP, for a bit of fun.  However, once the co-owner, Aithne, provides a tarot reading for Dawn, the trip becomes so much more as Dawn’s cards reveal she will soon find her soulmate- her twin flame.  Meanwhile, the vampire behind DON’T SPANK THE VAMP, Aidan, has been waiting for his twin flame for over 100 years.  Will Dawn be the one?

CJ England is quite simply a genius!  Her flair for creating sizzling love scenes coupled with interesting stories is evident regardless in which genre she chooses to write.  DON’T SPANK THE VAMP is yet another fantastic story from this very gifted writer and it provides readers with a spicier story than previous entries.  However, DON’T SPANK THE VAMP is neither a traditional erotica nor is it a traditional vampire story.   Instead, CJ England provides her own special twists to make this story unique and a breath of fresh air to the numerous vampire erotica stories out there.

CJ England has a knack for creating the perfect characters to fit the stories she writes.   While stories involving sex toys are generally not this reviewer’s choice of reading, Ms. England’s character development made DON’T SPANK THE VAMP both tasteful and titillating.  Dawn is nervous about even entering a store that specializes in sex toys and her erotic awakening will ease even readers uncomfortable with the concept into the storyline.  In fact, it is Dawn’s own hesitation that makes this story work.

DON’T SPANK THE VAMP is a sizzling hot story that immediately captivates the reader’s attention.  The relationship between Aidan and Dawn provides some very poignant moments and this reviewer suggests keeping a box of Kleenex handy as CJ England will wring tears from even the hardest of hearts.  DON’T SPANK THE VAMP is a fabulous read and one that is easily recommended!
