Lorelei Graham isn’t a rule breaker – at least not until one memorable night when her best friend convinces her to attend a camping trip with the Society for Creative Anachronism, completely decked out in sexy historical wench’s garb. Kaden McCallister is the sexiest thing in a kilt she’s ever seen, and he can’t take his eyes off of her the entire time she performs a belly dance for the group. Caught up in the magic of the evening, Lorelei allows Kaden to convince her to forget her rules, and indulge in a night of passion. This was a truly enjoyable story! Delinda Jasper created characters that seemed immediately familiar in Lorelei’s Dance, capturing the reader’s attention in only a few pages. While the story is extremely short, merely 32 pages, it is indeed complete. Jasper tells us all we need to know about Lorelei, who she is, why she is at the meeting, and how out of her element she is this evening. By the time Lorelei meets Kaden, we understand her need to break free of her own restrictions and let loose for a change. Kaden and Lorelei make an extremely hot couple, treating us to some very explicit scenes. What interests me most, is that the author ends the story in a way I did not expect, but which flowed very naturally. I always enjoy a story that has the ability to surprise me. Knowing how much I enjoyed this novella, I look forward to seeing some lengthier tales from Delinda Jasper! Reviewed by Jennifer
