While visiting his old friend Atticus, Master Vampire Marc Latour indulges in a flirtation with Kelly, who works at the vineyard, and is the best friend of Atticus’ wife, Lissa.

Kelly does not want anything to do with Marc, who will not seem to leave her alone.  Yet, she can’t seem to resist him when he is near.

When Marc and Kelly’s lives are at risk, and they finally give in to their passions, will they find something more lasting than a passing flirtation?

Rare Vintage is Book Two of Bianca D’Arc’s series, Brotherhood of Blood: Tales of the Vampire. With it, we see the return of the lovers from Book One, Atticus and Lissa, who are now happily settled at Atticus vineyard, and enjoying a visit from their friend, the vampire Master, Marc.

Where Atticus was a tortured hero, tired of living, Marc Latour is a saucy vampire who is tired of fighting for his territory. Marc’s flirtations with Kelly titillate us, and the omniscience the author affords us regarding Marc’s intentions guarantee we are rooting for him to win over Kelly every step of the way!

With the impetus of a villainous vampire intent on destroying Marc and seizing his territory, the love between Marc & Kelly is truly put to the ultimate of tests.

Rare Vintage is another novella, but D’Arc proves herself competent with the short story format, deftly creating a heart-rending story that, while complete, leaves us panting for the next in the series!
