Rosemary Cecilia Williams has too much pride to admit that she is a victim of Felix’s abuse. One time Felix takes it too far- and when Rosemary awakens, she’s in England in the year 1099.  Unfortunately, she’s in the dungeon of Ian McCurdy and once again she is beaten, raped, and left for dead.

Rosemary is strong, however, and she survives, albeit barely, long after Ian’s men have left the castle. The King has granted Lord Soleil the castle and Soleil’s men rescue Rosemary. Rosemary falls in love with one of Soleil’s adopted sons, Geoff, but is haunted by the spirit, Be’an Nighe, who foretells of death. Several horrible mishaps occur and Rosemary has to learn the meaning of love and family- without Geoff.

ROSES NEVER FADE is a powerful, moving tale that enchants the reader despite the hardships endured by Rosemary. Dyana Lunaris tastefully handles the violence, providing all of the emotional drama without alienating anyone in the process.  Rosemary is a survivor and the strength of her character is pivotal to the plotline. Many people would have given up after facing the numerous battles she has to fight, but Rosemary continues to struggle on and find the silver lining.  Her sweet romance with Mathieu is heart-warming and will touch the reader.

Dyana Lunaris’ lush descriptions bring medieval England to life. One will shudder at the dank, disgusting dungeon Rosemary finds herself in and later sense the wonder and beauty of the land around the castle. ROSES NEVER FADE is a fascinating story that is both entertaining and gut-wrenching. Ms. Lunaris is a gifted storyteller as this enchanting tale is sure to captivate the reader.
