If
you have read many of my reviews here at CK2S Kwips and Kritiques, you have
probably already figured out that Mackenzie McKade is one of my favorite
authors. Her newest release from Samhain Publishing, Take Me,
is a perfect example of why.
Continuing in her penchant for hunky cowboys (One of the reasons I love her
work! LOL), McKade delivers a steamy little tale of romance, complete with
some breath stealing ménage scenes between Caitlyn, Cord, and Dolan.
Cord is a man determined to win the unattainable woman of his dreams, the
girl he has long loved from afar but now finds himself in a position to
fight for. He is intent on his goal, and leaves her no quarter in his
ruthless bid for her love.
Caitlyn is equally determined, having chased Cord for years, never
understanding why he did not succumb to her charms
previously.
But she is playing for keeps, and wants more than a few nights with the sexy
cattle rancher. She pulls out all the stops, and finds herself biting off
perhaps a little more than she can chew…
This short story is a smoldering little pick me up that can be easily read
over a lunch hour, although you might have some trouble setting your mind
back on work when lunch is over (at least I did)! Take Me is
not to be missed by fans of ménage stories, and definitely not by fans of
Mackenzie McKade’s!
