Hal Halowell is the epitome of the sexy Alpha Male, and he puts it to good use as he pursues Casey, quickly dispelling any doubts she has as to whether or not he cares for her as much as she cares for him. Casey is sweet, funny, loyal, and caring, making it easy to see why Hal has loved her for years and is willing to risk his friendship with her brother in order to claim her as his own. While the story of Casey and Hal’s romance is completed in Warrior’s Heart, this book lays the groundwork for the ongoing mysteries that will carry through the Military Men series. Judging by this first book, I am certain readers will need to read the books in this series in order to fully enjoy the suspense. I’ll be waiting for the next one with bated breath!
