But as time goes by he finds himself bending those limitations and setting new boundaries. Cindy Kirk did an excellent job with her debut novel titled “When She Was Bad”! From the moment I picked it up, I couldn’t put it down. It’s sexy, funny and romantic! In fact it had all the right ingredients for a wonderful Contemporary Romance. I love Jenny and Robert! Somehow Cindy Kirk made the two characters blend so that everything just falls into place. Robert finds himself thinking more and more of Jasmine. Jenny finds herself trying new things and becoming more adventurous. I love that both characters grew in this story, not just one or the other as often is the case. Cindy Kirk didn’t skimp on the story line at all! Readers will enjoy this mix of funny, sexy, and incredibly romantic story. She delves more into the psyche of the main characters than you’d expect, but this is what makes the story. Furthermore, she reveals their insecurities and emotional issues which make it a richer read. The sex scenes were hot and romantic! As her alter ego, Jenny wants to experience all aspect of life, especially sex! Some of my favorite parts were the new experiences which were just explicit enough to add to the heat of this book. I think we all need an alter ego to break us out of our rut. I can’t say enough good things about this book! As a debut novel, Cindy Kirk churned out an excellent story! This is one author who has become an automatic buy for me! Oh and readers will be happy to know that she is coming out with Marcee’s book titled “One Night Stand” in May 2008!
